How do I protect a deposit?

Please go to https://www.tenancydepositscheme.com/join/join-agent/ and select our Insured scheme. Once you have registered your details, you will be sent an email to create an account after which you can log in to your new account and start protecting deposits.

To become a Member of TDS Insured, applicants must:

  • have a Client Account with Client Protection Insurance;
  • pay the required Membership Subscription to TDS when it is due;
  • agree to abide by the Rules of this Scheme and with the Adjudication Rules.

Once you have set up an account, you will need to register the individual Landlords against the tenancy. You will then have the option to add the tenancy details to include the full deposit amount, full tenancy address including postcode, tenancy start date, end date and name and contact details of the tenant(s).
