In TDS Custodial, the deposit is held in our Custodial bank account and will remain to be protected until we release the deposit out of the scheme.
In TDS Insured, once the initial fixed terms has ended and the tenancy is continuing on a periodic basis on the same terms, your protection is still valid and you do not need to protect the deposit again.
However, if the tenancy is continuing on a periodic basis with material changes to the terms (such as the deposit or tenants or if you are renewing the tenancy with a new fixed term tenancy agreement, you must protect the deposit again as a new tenancy.
