Will I be able to see what my landlord has made deductions for?
Yes - within the TDS Custodial App for Tenants there is an overview of the deductions your landlord is seeking from the deposit, for example, whether deductions have been made for cleaning.
From 1st June 2019 landlords in England are limited to the equivalent of 5 weeks' rent for new and renewed tenancies (or 6 weeks if the annual rent is £50,000 or more).
