In order to make the member area easier for you to work in, TDS has replaced the old ‘Quicklinks’ section with new navigation and function menu bars that are clear and simple to use, these menu bars will be available on screen at all times to help you move around the Member Area.
TDS (Tenancy Deposit Scheme) is pleased to announce a new refresh and update of the Member Area of the TDS Insured website for the benefit of our members.
This update has been introduced to enhance the performance, functionality and accessibility of the website and will allow TDS to provide additional improvements throughout 2018. Where possible, visible changes have been kept to a minimum to ensure the site remains familiar to users. We’re also continuing to ensure our users security, as ever, to protect your data.
TDS will be making this change on the 1st March 2018.
Enhanced User Interface
TDS has listened to members’ feedback around usability and made our website much simpler to use. The pages have been refreshed to make them clearer and provide easier to access key guidance.
Improved Import Eand xport Functions
To make importing tenancies easier, TDS has overhauled the “Bulk Tenancy Import” tool to make it faster than ever, it will also offer an optional data mapping tool to manage imports.
There is also a manual check-process now available to allow members to identify any changes before approving them, this also provides feedback messages.
Also the export function is also quicker with a new, simpler user interface allowing members to choose whether to be emailed once the file is ready for secure download.
Updated Navigation

Tenancy Registration Screens
TDS haven’t just improved the overall user interface; the tenancy registration screen has also been updated so it continues to be clear on how to input the necessary deposit protection information.
Self-management of Membership Details
Finally, TDS letting agent members will have a greater ability to view and amend their account and branch information to keep your details accurate, with an extra feature that allows you to add and update your own branches as required.
