As part of the Government’s plans to have a fully digital tax service by 2020, a number of consultations have been launched that are particularly relevant to landlords.
From 2018, the Government plans to have a more digital tax service, which will mean that landlords will need to use software and apps to keep their business up to date on a quarterly basis. There will be some simplification to taxation rules to support this change.
The Government is asking for feedback on six consultations.
