This year’s ARLA conference was held at the EXCEL centre in London and was attended by over 1000 delegates. In between seminars the floor was packed with letting agents, landlords and solicitors – our stand remained busy throughout the day and we were pleased to meet new people, be able to put names to faces and see some regular faces too.
Tessa Shepperson, of the Landlord Law blog has provided a thorough recap of the ARLA conference and seminars on her blog.
On the TDS we had plenty to give away and chat about with delegates – our stress houses and mini-cupcakes were the star of the show, closely followed by our TDS bookmarks and pens. Throughout the day we had plenty of entries into our business card draw for the Fortnum and Mason Hamper – but there could only be one winner. Sarah Kyriakides of JLL was lucky to have her business card picked out of the draw by Michael Morgan, Director of Dispute Resolution here at TDS.
At the event we were pleased to be able to welcome our sister company SafeDeposits, who provide TDP for Scotland. Victoria Nixon, Operations Manager, not only visited our stand, but took part around the conference as well – competing with Ben Beadle, Director of Customer Service.
We will be returning to the ARLA conference next year, and hope to see many of you there.
